Party in the USA!

So Adeline has decided that her favorite song right now is "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. Everytime we get in the car she says, "Miley! Again!" And she totally dances in her car seat and has a ball. I like to think she gets her dancing skills from me :) I tried catching it on video, but since she could see me with it, she wasn't as animated. But she is still cute and busts out a couple moves. Toward the end she kinda decides I should be done with the video camera, but the beginning is my favorite. I love Addy!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a great holiday. We sure did! Adeline had a blast opening presents. She got her cute jammies on Christmas Eve from Grandma Layton. Then on Christmas morning she had a ton of presents to open. She tore off the wrapping paper little piece by little piece and would hand it to me and say, "Yuck momma." Haha everytime. She was adorable. But she loved it. After about 4-5 presents though, she was done and just wanted to start playing with her toys. Who can blame her? She got some cool stuff. Thank you to all the family who got her such fun things! Her favorites were her new princess kitchen, her 2 new baby dolls - complete with food, high chair, and crib, and her car. She also got some fun noise making toys and books, etc. Here are some pictures of her playing with her gifts....

So on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, my parents and sisters came over to open presents and hang out and what not. We had Christmas dinner at my grandparents house with more family. It was really fun to have everyone together. Then the day after Christmas, we drove to Portland to see my other grandparents and that side of the family. We all got together and ate lunch and hung out for a while. Some of the family we hadn't seen in a long time so it was good to catch up.

Adeline the Adorable

So I just wanted to share some freaking cute pictures of my little girl. She does so many cute things everyday and I try to catch as many as I can. Addy has decided she likes to wear my tank tops around the house. She'll wear them all day if I let her. Then there are some pictures of her just playing and being happy and laughing. Then the last one - she was just too tired so she fell asleep mid-cracker. Enjoy!

Trip to Logan!

So the week before Thanksgiving we went down to visit our family in Logan, Utah. Of course we went to the Utah State vs BSU game. It was so cold that us girls just went to the tailgate and the boys stayed and watched the whole game. We were having so much fun that we caught the eye of an ESPN camera person. Kevin, Addy and I were the only pro BSU people in the group... :) It was a lot of fun to see family and let the kids play together. Here are some pictures of the fun!! We had a blast!

Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! We had a blast with Halloween this year. Adeline is just old enough to understand what to do. When she got candy in her bucket, she immediately took it out and wanted to eat it. At one point she just sat down on the concrete and ate a candy bar (that mom gave her of course :) We went trick or treating with my cousin Tiffany and her two kids Emma and Braeden. It was a lot of fun. During the day Adeline was a Bronco cheerleader and at night she was a precious little ladybug. Enjoy the pictures!

Ready for Halloween Fun!

Fall is here!

So we went ahead and welcomed the fall season. It is just beautiful with all the colors. Adeline has learned all about leaves and thinks they are just the coolest thing. She has made Kevin shake the tree to make more leaves fall on her, rake the leaves with a golf club, and naturally, play in a pile of leaves.

We also decided to do some fall festivities this year. We did a corn maze, went to a pumpkin patch, saw some farm animals, played on a giant pillow, and enjoyed time with family. Needless to say, Addy and mom and dad were pretty worn out by the end of the day, but it was so fun!

Here are some more pictures of Adeline and us having fun :) . She is talking up a storm now! Its amazinig how many new words she learns everyday. It is so fun to hear her try to communicate with us using "big girl" words. She is also getting closer to potty training. She has gone on the potty several times and is getting better at recognizing when she needs to go. We also just recently took the pacifier away, and Addy is doing great! A whole lot better than Kevin and I thought, so we are grateful. Our baby is growing up!

End of Summer

I can't believe summer is over now. I don't think I am ready for cold weather and eventual snow. I don't think Adeline is yet either. She loves to play outside! We try to take her to the park frequently so she can burn off some of that incredible energy and get out of the house. She could play there all day long.

Recently it was cold out, so we tried her in her snowsuit to see how it fit. She looked adorable, but was unsure of it at first. :)

I have also enjoyed being able to do more things with Addy's hair. It is finally getting long enough to play with and do cute styles! And Adeline LOVES to play with her babies. She will make quite the little mommy someday...

Adeline has also recently been trying on every shoe she can get her hands on. These are the latest ones :)
