It's been another long time....

So maybe I should just plan on updating the blog every couple months, because apparently monthly just does not happen. :) So here it goes - quick highlights of what we've been up to.

November - We had family pictures taken with my side of the family. I think they turned out really good, despite it being freezing outside.

December - Christmas was an absolute blast! It was really the 1st year Adeline really got into it and was ripping into the presents and screaming with excitement. Matthew loved ripping the paper :) We saw Santa like 5 times too.

January - "Show week" in gymnastics. Adeline got to show off all of the cool skills she has learned this term in gymnastics.

February - We went to Rexburg for my friend Melissa's baby Lylah's blessing.

Catching up!

So I haven't posted anything in like 4 months, so here is a quick update. We had such a fun summer! We played at the pool, we went boating, we had a family reunion, and played a lot of softball!

Matthew is 4 1/2 months old now and growing like crazy. He is 20 pounds and a very happy, chill little boy. Adeline started preschool this week! My baby girl is getting so big. She got to pick out her new backpack and her new school shoes and outfits.

Happy Birthday Adeline!

My baby girl is now 3 years old today!! I cannot believe how fast time has gone. It seems like just yesterday she was a baby and now she is potty-training and getting ready for preschool!

She had a Little Mermaid themed party and got a lot of cool stuff. Lots of outdoor toys and her first big girl bike!

I am so blessed to have such a beautiful, sweet, smart little girl. We love you Addy! Happy Birthday!

Easter!

Happy Easter! April has definitely been an eventful one for our family this year :). We colored eggs at our house -the first time Addy got to do it on her own! She had a blast coloring the eggs and putting stickers on them. Then we took Addy to an Easter egg hunt in my mom's subdivision. Addy found tons of eggs - and her favorite part - there was plenty of candy in them! She was on a total sugar high all weekend. She loved seeing the Easter bunny, but when it came time to sit on his lap or get close to him, she said, "No way mom." So when I held her, we got a picture "close" to the Easter bunny. Then we had Easter dinner at my mom's house and had another Easter egg hunt there - and this time, Addy was a pro and found most of the eggs. Matthew got to enjoy the scenery :). He is getting so big! He was 12 pounds at 3 weeks old - growing like crazy! And I've noticed that I am now late all the time now that I have 2 kids - something I am still working on. But we are having fun!
