Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! We had a blast with Halloween this year. Adeline is just old enough to understand what to do. When she got candy in her bucket, she immediately took it out and wanted to eat it. At one point she just sat down on the concrete and ate a candy bar (that mom gave her of course :) We went trick or treating with my cousin Tiffany and her two kids Emma and Braeden. It was a lot of fun. During the day Adeline was a Bronco cheerleader and at night she was a precious little ladybug. Enjoy the pictures!

Ready for Halloween Fun!

Fall is here!

So we went ahead and welcomed the fall season. It is just beautiful with all the colors. Adeline has learned all about leaves and thinks they are just the coolest thing. She has made Kevin shake the tree to make more leaves fall on her, rake the leaves with a golf club, and naturally, play in a pile of leaves.

We also decided to do some fall festivities this year. We did a corn maze, went to a pumpkin patch, saw some farm animals, played on a giant pillow, and enjoyed time with family. Needless to say, Addy and mom and dad were pretty worn out by the end of the day, but it was so fun!

Here are some more pictures of Adeline and us having fun :) . She is talking up a storm now! Its amazinig how many new words she learns everyday. It is so fun to hear her try to communicate with us using "big girl" words. She is also getting closer to potty training. She has gone on the potty several times and is getting better at recognizing when she needs to go. We also just recently took the pacifier away, and Addy is doing great! A whole lot better than Kevin and I thought, so we are grateful. Our baby is growing up!

End of Summer

I can't believe summer is over now. I don't think I am ready for cold weather and eventual snow. I don't think Adeline is yet either. She loves to play outside! We try to take her to the park frequently so she can burn off some of that incredible energy and get out of the house. She could play there all day long.

Recently it was cold out, so we tried her in her snowsuit to see how it fit. She looked adorable, but was unsure of it at first. :)

I have also enjoyed being able to do more things with Addy's hair. It is finally getting long enough to play with and do cute styles! And Adeline LOVES to play with her babies. She will make quite the little mommy someday...

Adeline has also recently been trying on every shoe she can get her hands on. These are the latest ones :)

Firsts...

So I just thought this was a totally cute idea. Adeline has had quite a bit of "firsts" the past month or so. Here are just a few of them!

Summer Fun!

So I thought I would show everyone a little bit of what we have done this summer. Adeline turned one on May 23! We had a huge party and she had so much fun. Her favorite gifts were the chocolate and the clothes. Total little girl! :)

We flew back to Colorado for my sister's high school graduation and took the slow boat way back - driving from Colorado to Boise with a one year old. It was definitely interesting, but we all had a great time. We stopped in Salt Lake City, Utah and visited old friends and the Temple. Then we went to Logan to visit family and finally came home. We were very ready to get back home!

Trip to Portland!

A couple weeks ago Kevin, Addy and I went to Portland, Oregon with my parents. It was so fun! It was Kevin and Addy's first time there so it was especially cool. We went to the coast and even though it was windy and cold, we put our feet in the water and let Adeline splash around. Then we had to do the traditional "bury your legs in the sand." And of course Addy had to taste it too! We really enjoyed our weekend away and exposing Addy to new things!
